Moisture barrier boards are used as an effective moisture protection solution, providing drainage, capillary-breaking, thermal insulation, and moisture-wicking properties for basement walls, basement floors, slab-on-grade, and crawl spaces.
Pordrän panels are used for courtyard floors, green roofs, and rooftop terraces thanks to their thermal insulation and drainage properties.
Pordräns panels are also ideal for use beneath ground surfaces, such as sports fields (e.g., soccer fields, golf greens, and paddocks), or beneath paving stones and behind walls, where Pordräns’ drainage and frost-insulation properties are particularly beneficial.

All Pordrän panels have an EPD

Description
Drainage – To prevent water from pooling along the structure.
Capillary-breaking – Prevents water from being drawn into the structure.
Thermal insulation – Energy-saving and necessary for proper drying.
Drying – The ability to remove moisture from the structure.
The four properties listed above are essential for moisture-proofing a basement, for example. Pordrän a unique structure. Each expanded Pordrän bead is encased in a proprietary adhesive. In addition to bonding the beads together into a panel, this adhesive prevents Pordrän from absorbing moisture. This is crucial for the material’s performance and lifespan. Moist insulation materials have very poor thermal insulation properties. Thanks to its unique structure, the Pordrän sheet has a very high pore volume (the space between the beads). The pore volume determines the material’s drainage properties, its ability to transport water away, its drying properties, and its ability to allow water vapor to pass through.
