Pordrän a company with extensive experience in addressing moisture issues in homes and on land. Our mission is to offer a comprehensive system that provides thermal insulation, moisture protection, drying, and drainage in a cost-effective, simple, and functional way.
Pordrän the original
The floor drain cover is originally a German invention and was introduced to the market as early as the mid-1960s. It is therefore the original and a well-proven product with documented excellent properties.

Our own factory
Using state-of-the-art machinery at our facility in Tullinge, south of Stockholm, we manufacture, sell, and distribute Pordrän retailers throughout the Nordic region.
How Pordrän is made
Pordrän from polystyrene granules that are expanded using hot steam, which increases their volume fiftyfold. After a period of intermediate storage, the beads are fed through a mixer into a curing mold. There, a proprietary solvent-free adhesive is added, which bonds the beads together while protecting them from water absorption.
The boards are then passed through hot air to dry. The manufacturing process includes a recycling system that reduces production waste to virtually zero.
